Vice President – Lead Infrastructure Architect Investment Bank  (2012-Present)

Core Processing ODS/Warehouse Architecture

Delivered a complete “top-to bottom” architecture strategy and infrastructure management plan from the data tier all the way through to the application tier.  ODS will have 60 TB of data and a footprint of over 20 application and web servers.

Vice President – Lead Solutions Architect  (2010 – 2012)

Acted as lead solutions architect for Global Technology and Infrastructure (GTI)  / Infrastructure Software Services (ISS).  The ISS platform centers on the management of firm wide IT asset and configuration data.  The platform leverages this data to support incident, request, risk, and reporting processes.


Successfully delivered a unified platform architecture across the entire ISS program including defining processes models, data models, framework standards, integration technologies, and SDLC methodologies.


Led the design and implementation of the SOA process orchestration tier which allows GTI to offer automated technology delivery which drastically reduce the time, expense, and risk in deploying new IT assets. 


Delivered a consistent application and data architecture, development best practices (java and .net), and design guidelines for all ISS projects.  Governance was delivered by actively participating in projects and mentoring developers and infrastructure staff on how to best implement solutions.

Vice President – Enterprise Architecture 

Acted as senior application and integration architect for the GTS portal platform.  The GTS platform has its web presentation layer in SharePoint / ASP.NET and backend services hosted in a mix of java/j2ee, spring, and .NET/c#.  Role involved providing hands on technical guidance to both the java and .NET developers concerning issues of performance optimization, concurrency, and fault tolerance.


Successfully delivered the SOA design and implementation for the Global Transaction Services division of Markets and Banking.  Delivered SOA design for the global payments reengineering effort.  This project consisted of discovering and architecting 10 distinct service groups over 5 service owners (applications) covering 100 business functions.  Also acted as central manager for all WSDLs and Schemas used in the division.  This included service registration and governance.

Vice President – SOA Team Leader – Global Architecture  (2005 – 2008)

Hands on management of the Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) infrastructure and architecture group.  Responsible for central web services infrastructure, reference architecture, and best practices.  Successfully adopted this technology in a highly distributed - high velocity firm.  Frequently made presentations to senior management with emphasis on how services can accelerate IT delivery and reduce risk in IT projects.  Role was 75% technical and 25% oversight.
